Monitor problem
Old 08-10-2022, 04:46 PM

I unhooked my touch screen monitor to move it out of the way. When I put it back, everything is large, the fonts, the desktop, the icon tray. I have tried changing the resolution and the zoom on google. I have gone into the monitor controls. I changed icon size on the desktop. It is driving me nuts. Any other suggestions?

Thank you.

You might have accidently caused the screen to magnify. Just type "magnify" in the search bar, then check to see what per cent it is on when you get to that page. You can adjust it up or down from there.

My brother is a computer programmer who currently works in IT. This is exactly what he would say to do! It does fix a lot of problems Fingers crossed it fixes yours!

Unplug and leave it unplugged for a couple minutes. If that doesn't work, try using a different port or cord to connect to it.

Try control "0"

I know on Chrome books there is stuff under " accessibility" to change thinhs as some kids would make an enormous cursor (annoying!) or change other settings like that. Maybe see if you have something like that on yours?
