Do you have your work email synced to phone?

I do and I'm starting to not like it. I am the type of person who checks the phone when it beeps. I don't like leaving the alerts up on my phone. But I'm also getting parent emails at home because of the email being synced. I like keeping up on work stuff, but I'm finding I'm not liking the parent emails at home.
Anyone else the same way?

Absolutely not. I check my school email from home when it is convenient for me- home is for home, unless YOU choose to do work

I do, but I don't have a problem ignoring something if I don't need/want to deal with it immediately. And then if there is something I want to deal with right away, it's easy to do.

I check my school email often from my iPhone, but I do not have it synced. No way!

Last year I did and I had all these difficult parents. When they switched our mail server I was happy and never put it back on my phone!

I check it online on my phone but it's not synched. That would be one more way to keep me up at night!

If you WANT it on your phone,

for the convenience, I suggest changing your settings. Just remove the notifications for your work email--no light, vibration, tiny icon on the top bar, etc. for new messages. You can still check it, but on your terms, without feeling there is an immediacy to it.

You should be able to do this without changing the notifications for your personal email, messages, missed calls, games, etc. Each program should have their own notification settings.

Yes I do but I have the notifications for all email turned off even personal email. I don't need to know the second I get an email but I like to be able to check it at my convenience.

I can't think of anything important enough that I need to get emails at home. I check my email at school before I leave and then not again until the next work day. Maybe if I was expecting news about a raise...
