Gentle Feel Good Movies

I just need some gentle kind soft upbeat movies to watch. I still have to wear the bone stimulator 4 hours a day. The Hallmark movies worked but I have overdosed on same old same old themes.

We have Netflix and Amazon Prime.

If this doesn't interest you at all, please disregard this post, but I enjoy watching Sugar Rush on Netflix. There are a couple of seasons and a Christmas series. It's a baking contest, and I know it's not a movie, but it's light and fun and puts me in a good mood.

Prime:
The Grand Seduction is a sweet movie about villagers in Newfoundland who need a doctor to come live in the village.

A Man Called Ove and Britt-Marie was Here are movies made from books by the same author. Both gentle stories about outsiders finding community.

The Peanut Butter Falcon is about a special needs man and the people who help him grow.

https://www.amazon.com/Saved-Grace-J...ies-tv&sr=1-36

This one is $3.99 unless you take a free one week trial and then cancel. It is a great fit and ends happily.

https://www.amazon.com/Breakthrough-...1354445&sr=8-4

This one is $2.99 but very good Christian film.

https://www.amazon.com/Heaven-Real-K...t-video&sr=1-1

This one is free but only available this month. It is a series of movies by hallmark but different formula. All the characters work in the lost mail department for US mail. It is like a mystery of finding who the mail belongs to and always has a happy ending.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/deta...QwT3_brws_18_1

Have you seen the series of pioneer films that starts with Love Comes Softly? I love these and have watched all of them many times. This is the first one.

https://www.amazon.com/Love-Comes-So.../dp/B073R1KBGM

Have you seen this oldie goldie with Sally Field? Excellent film? Best ending I have ever seen.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/deta...f=atv_sf_ih_dp

One more. Just watched this tonight and it is a good one.

Ladies in Black- Just a simple movie about ladies working in a department store. No nastiness, no sex, just a nice movie.

A second recommendation for Fishermans Friend. Check out The Repair Shop, both on Netflix. The Repair Shop fixes, restores, and brings back to use treasured family heirlooms and makes everybody happy. Very gentle and heartwarming!
