Dh had been married for 30 years and his wife left him for another woman. It was as bad as bad could get.

Flash forward 12 years. His ex’s wife is very sick. My dh sent the ex’s wife (the woman his ex cheated on him with) a heartfelt message about hoping she has a successful surgery and we are wishing her all the best. He even said that she is very good for his ex.

I’m so glad he sent her the message for many reasons. One being that it is a good example for his son of being gracious and forgiving.

Never underestimate the power of time (and therapy and medication) for healing deep wounds.
