I just ordered an ipad 2 through scholastic using my bonus points! I'm so excited- I've wanted one for a really long time. So I'm wondering what you have found to be the best apps for Kindergarten (and also for my 3 year old daughter!). Thanks!

There are lots of free ebooks... snow white, three little pigs, toy story, etc.

Congrats on getting one from Scholastic!

My kids love Rookie Labs - it is a math theme and more like a video game that is why they love it so much

Monkey Lunchbox

More Pizza

They are either free or 99 cents.

It was 19,995 points! I have 40 students and almost half of them order every time. The September and January issues have 6,000 points a piece if you get over $200... I had to help a lot in January, but I ordered several guided reading books. Now I'm not very patiently waiting for them to send it to me. It has been 6 weeks already

Teacher Asistant formy anecdotal records and Planbook for my lesson plans, my quest to be paper free.

And love Write My Name, you can enter each child's name and they can practice correct letter formation, as I am waiting for them all to come in, pass me around.

And even though these R not probably the mot academic, love Cake Doodle, Candy Doodle, etc... The educational assistant uses these one on one for ELL and language kids.

Smartboards?!? I teach at a small private school and I'm lucky they're getting me a new dry erase board this year to replace the ancient chalkboard. I asked for an (as in ONE) IPad and it's not looking good.
I can't wait to get some technology in my classroom!
