the Common Core Mathematics Standards for Kindergarten? I would like to get an idea of what qualifies as passing the kindergarten level math expectations. We will not be giving a standardized test this year in K, but I want to do a year-end assessment that relates how we stack up. Thanks!

Maggie,
I am in the process of putting some things together based on what we use now and what we're looking to implement next year. IT won't be ready in time, but I'm really glad you asked. I hope to see a lot crop up over the summer months. And btw, I'm really glad you shared what you did last summer about guided math and pulling groups. I'm excited to start fresh next year with the new standards and I'm working on finding a technology grant that I can use to get 6 tablets in my room to use as materials for my kids - you were the inspiration for making it seem possible and I thank you!

core standards across the country, but there are likely still differences. I found a few in the past that were summative assessments from North Carolina. It might have some parts that you can use and some parts that you can 'tweak'. I'll have 3 attachments so check back and let me know what you think. I have not used them as yet.

There will be at least one more. I'm still searching my files.

rubric, and see how we may adapt it. The other assessments are also interesting. I hope the coming summer will produce other assessments developed for common core goals. Thanks!

I would love to see your adapted version when you are finished with reinventing it for your needs.
