I will be teaching a unit about pond life the first week of May. Does anybody have picture book suggestions? I would really appreciate some recommendations

am happy to share what I've found so far. I don't have my own ideas pulled together yet so these are the links that I have started with:

http://www.abcteach.com/directory/th.../pond_habitat/

http://www.squidoo.com/FrogUnitStudy I especially like the interactive bulletin board that shows burrows as part of the underground habitat as I have just completed teaching a unit on worms. http://www.kindergarten-lessons.com/...in-boards.html

Here's another frog unit: http://depts.washington.edu/tepacct/tucker/p_mainl.htm

http://42explore.com/pond.htm

If I find any more along the way or create some of my own ideas from this starting point, I will let you know!
