School express has a section that is called story time. I print the stories and have the students create books using pipe cleaners as binding. We then read the story and answer the related question pages. I like this because the stories can be linked to many social skills lessons. We recently did the ugly duckling and linked it to self-esteem and treating others with respect. The kids actively participate because they can color all of the pictures (they print in black and white) if they have done well. Social skills curriculum is hard to find so I usually link it with reading and listening comprehension.
