Clip to ScrapBook #1

I work as a tutor in the evenings and recently picked up a case where I am not technically tutoring but providing life skills support to a 21 year old male with Aspergers. He struggles significantly with communication and social skills, as well as with frustration tolerance. Any suggestions on activities that I can work on with him?

Thanks

They have great resource books for those on the Spectrum. Some of their books are pricey, but perhaps you can check them out from the library or even you district's resource library (if you have one).

who has aspergers said one of the most helpful things a friend did for him was literally creating a flow chart of sorts for him for social interactions. Such as: person says "hello" you say "Hi, how are you?" person answers and if they ask how are you, you answer ... yada yada

He said that really helped him because he really didn't understand the "need" for such small-talk but realized that it was important to others.
