Sweet, adorable, hard-working, on level student is super worried about middle school next year. She is super kind and innocent. Looking for good coming of age book for her to read to alleviate fears. Today was day 3 in tears about middle school. I started "Hello God, it's me Margaret...." too many teen type issues.... she is very innocent.... any thoughts?

My daughter was similar. American Girl (like American Girl Dolls) has books that I got for her that she read. They are good and age appropriate. The one I would recommend in this case is called "The Feelings Book", but there are others, and there is a separate journal you can get that goes with The Feelings Book. You'd want to take a look at it, because I bought it as a parent, and didn't really look at it thinking about classroom/school use.
If you are interested in more of that type of book for your classroom, I also recommend "The Smart Girls Guide" books from American Girl. There are different topics like staying organized, friendship, online safety, etc.
