Help!?! Need to find passages with multiple choice questions

Hi,
I am driving myself crazy... I am trying to create multiple choice reading tests leveled by skill (ex. cause & effect, plot, sequence, etc).

I need passages appropriate for 3-6 grade level readers with multiple choice questions.

Anyone have a great online site? I am willing to pay for online access if it is a site with great items.

Thanks for saving my sanity!

I really like http://www.lessonwriter.com/

It won't write a multiple choice question for you, but it will give you vocab and a place to start.

Online membership is $20 a year. However, they are not done by skill. Each story has a variety of question types.

Comprehension passages

I bought 2 different books that are leveled-1 book is grade K-2 and the other is 3-4, I think. They have fiction comprehension passages in them that focus on different skills. They are supposed to be for progress monitoring but I think they may work for you. There is also a non-fiction book that goes with them. They are by Newmark.

BTW-I also found books by Scholastic that are passages based on skill. But these are leveled so I don't know what grades they would be appropriate for.

One of my favorites is http://www.readworks.org At the top, clink on the "Nonfiction Passages" tab and then on the "Get Reading Passages" link. You can search by grade level, skill, and key word.

Another favorite is http://www.k12reader.com/. If you go down on the left hand side of the page, you will find reading comprehension worksheets.
