making online appointments

My new business is in its infancy, but I'm starting to look at online booking systems in hopes that someday soon I will have clients who need to book counseling appointments with me.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I know this is out of the teaching realm a bit, but I know some of you have your own businesses on the side or your spouse does.

I have looked at Appointments Plus and Bookly, but I have no idea if either of them are good or there are better ones out there. Thanks!

I have no experience with the business side but LOTS of experience on the consumer side and having an easy to navigate booking system is vital! Never assume the customer knows anything and make sure each step flows easily into the next.

Good luck with your business!

A photographer we used to go to uses Brown Book It.

https://brownbookit.com

I haven't used it but it seems fairly user friendly.

Thank you both for the suggestions! I will take a look at Brown Book It and see if it will work with my website.

You probably know this-seems so obvious

But don't curse even if you think clients aren't listening (i.e. They have headphones on) and don't bring your dog along (it was 94 degrees out and he wouldn't bring the dog in my house, so awkward).

Both happened when we got new floors and weirded us out.

Good luck!

I hope this is obvious but to my floor guy who did beautiful floors for a reasonable price it was not.

The point is respecting people and animals when the payer doesn't seem to be immediately aware matters.

My hairdresser uses Schedulicity. Super easy to book with her.

Zia, I looked into Schedulicity and it looked pretty good, but I need something that can be accessed worldwide. I was so excited about it until I saw that it is only for businesses in N. America. I appreciate your suggestion though!
