Does anyone have a shoe rack at their entryway? Do they look tacky located there? Thanks.

If I had one it would be more like this...https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30381753/

Although I do like the idea of a bench with shoe storage under it. I just don't have the room where I enter the house.

Right now I have a rug that hold one pair of shoes for me to slip on when I go out.

I love that piece. I love being able to sit on the bench to take off/put on shoes at the door.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me, but if it fits your space & decor & lifestyle, go for it.

I have the IKEA piece posted by nucleus. I also have a bench with baskets. Like this except my baskets are wicker. I don't like clutter in my foyer.

I've always had a shoe rack, but it's never been a nice one like the ones posted. I really like all three of those things- but particularly like the bench!

We have the really tacky wire one that has WAY too many shoes on it. Even after oldest son went to college and took his meager number of shoes with him, our shoe rack somehow got MORE cluttered

We bought a nice one at the container store. We set it up in the garage though. Door to laundry room right from the garage.

When we remodeled our kitchen, we got rid of the table and chairs in the small eating area and put stools at the peninsula. We then put in the shoe bench and shelf. LOVE it still, three years later.

I'm planning to get this one from Amazon. I was planning to put it in the bedroom. Would it look tacky at the entryway? Some of the pictures show it with decorative items as well as shoes, coats, purses.
