I made a "Hello, Jello" banner to go with my "See you later, Alligator" banner.

I meant to check this before I placed my order but I forgot....

Should it be:
What's shakin', Bacon?
or
What's shakin,' Bacon?

I know that you put the comma before quotation marks, but what about when you use a comma when using the apostrophe to represent a missing letter?

I'm sure I did it wrong......

it should be What's shakin', Bacon? because the apostrophe indicates where the missing letter is...and it's after the n. But to be completely honest...I'm not 100% sure!

I agree - first one. The apostrophe is replacing the g, and then you're addressing Bacon.

I knew when I did it (option 2) to check because it didn't look right, but I didn't even look at it again until after I ordered the stupid thing!

Oh well.....maybe my first graders won't know!

just get some white out and fix it (correct punct with perm pen). i'm assuming the background is white...
