I didn't even show add. Had on my phone. I just asked an assistant manager and he said they were honoring the 1cent with no limit. And we didn't have to purchase anything.. They are so great to teachers. I get frustrated when I have to beg to get supplies for school. I loved their 10 cent glue sticks. Toys r us also had crayons 4 for $1. They are great for that!

Last year I had a 20 minute debate with the manager of my local Walmart because he said the folders were not the same brand and he didn't have to honor the add, but would do it "this one time".

But my Office Depot was right next door to WalMart. When I went into O.D. I asked one of the workers if there was a teacher limit, she asked me how many I wanted and I said maybe 50? She radio'ed to her manager and asked if she can allow me to go over the teacher limit (30), and she said, "She's not like that other teacher that came in here earlier." ! She then proceeded to tell me that a teacher came in and wanted to buy almost the entire lot--4 full cardboard boxes each holding 3 of those display holders full of folders!! Anyway, they allowed me to buy as many as I wanted!

Yay!! I love paying 1 cent for things!

Yes - I just bought 40 composition books at Walmart for 25 cents each - I didn't have to show an ad! My Office Depot limits teachers to 3 books, but Walmart came through!

I went back to Walmart and got crayons for 4 for $1. I had forgotten about the Toys R Us add. Ours never has very many in stock.
