Clip to ScrapBook #1

Hello!
My school does weekly PD but for the next 6 weeks, it will not pertain to self contained students on alternate standards (actually none of it ever does but that's another story.) They've told us we can do a book study or find some other form of "learning." SO, does anyone know of any free or low cost PD in the area of ABA, autism and comprehension, 1:1 counting with low prevalence/lower functioning autism, or trauma informed teaching?

THANKS!

I received this email a few months back about this training. I'm registered with AIM and this is something new. I haven't had a chance to check it out but the AIM modules are informative. Plus, it's completely free.

I haven't had a chance to look at many of the videos yet, but I think this site looks pretty good: http://www.ocali.org/project/ocali_on_demand

If you're in need of training around the topics of assistive technology or of minutes of communication, Ablenet, Dynavox/Mayer-Johnson, and Don Johnston have a lot of free trainings that are very good. Some of them are product specific, but most apply to any similar device. Dynavox has a lot of good training on general communication instruction.

Have you looked at PESI?

Also think of checking out these resources... http://studenttherapy.com/Continuing...RS-Therapy.htm

Here is a good book study on flexibility: http://www.amazon.com/Unstuck-Target.../dp/1598572032.
