I was wondering if any of you would let me know what you title your classroom newsletter. I'm stuck on a title for my weekly newsletter! I was in 2nd grade last year and used "What's New in Grade Two?" Any ideas for first? I was looking for something catchy to go with First Grade... or my last name starts with a C. Any help would be appreciated!

last year i did "grade one gazette" i thought that was catchy - i guess i'm a sucker for alliteration

Mine is "News from Room 222". It helps the kids remember our room number.

This doesn't follow either of the ideas you were hoping for but mine is

"What's going in in our world" and then in replace of the word world I have a clipart of kids standing around the earth holding hands

I'm going with my theme: Penguins. I've titled mine Penguin Papers. I like alliteration, too (this was all I could come up with). I have clip art of penguins along the top and bottom and I used the format from some website, I can't recall now.

I stole this idea from a teacher across the hall. Her title is something like: News for the College Bound First Grader's of Mrs. _____'s class. I love it because it speaks hope into them, but also, the parents love it too.

Mine doesn't have any catchy slogan. However, I send it out on Monday, the beginning of the week. I let the parents know what we will be doing in the subjects, any news info in our classroom/school and any homework the children are responsible for. I call it "A Look At The Week Ahead!"

1st grade: In the 1st Place
2nd grade: Two's News
3rd grade: Third's Word
4th grade: 4YI (four your information)
