HELP! What sticks to walls?

Clip to ScrapBook #1

In the past we have been allowed to staple to our walls but not this year. What holds things to painted walls. Not allowed to use heavy duty tape or anything that makes holes.

Command...

I use Command poster strips and hooks for almost everything. They hold everything up and you can pull and release them when you want to take something down or move it. You may need to clean the wall with a dab of alcohol before you put them up to be sure they will stay. Occasionally I have one that won't stay and I just clean the wall with alcohol and it does the trick. Hope this helps...

I also use Command poster strips and hooks for everything! They have a large selection of hook sizes, and are now coming out with a line of small organizers that you can attach to the wall with their strips. For smaller things I cut the strips in half. I used to use fun tak, but found that it dried out and the posters fell down. I have never had anything fall with the Command strips.

It sticks to most walls, including cinder block.

I use a hot glue gun to stick up things on the walls. At the end of the year, I pull down whatever it was and the dried glue usually just pops off of the wall. That is how I hold down their name tags on their desks as well.

a secret

I have tried to share my secret but many find it hard so hard to believe they don't try it. Use regular 2 inch masking tape and one dot of Elmer's glue. The glue makes the tape hold to the cinder block. I have no trouble keeping things on my wall.

Thanks GaPeach for the share!

I use my hot glue for everything. I have mostly cinder block walls. It works great and everything stays up the whole year long!

The blue multi-surface painter's tape works like a charm! It took me years to find something that worked!

Velcro tape or dots. They work great.

Stikki clips work really well on cinderblock walls. They are a small plastic clip with wax on the back to stick.

Painters Tape

I second the post about blue painters tape. It works wonders. My father in law taped a magazine to the wall with it and it stayed until he took it down!
