I need a few more ideas for people bingo. I teach in a LOW income school. I don't want to do anything about vacation. Most kids went to our school last year. a few are new. I would like ideas the will give me some insight. Thanks.

What about naming favorite school activities, or what they like

If you want more concrete then you can use birth months as well.

how do you do people bingo? Can you give me the basic instructions? Sounds like fun!!

two ways to play:
It is just a grid witha descriptor on each box. the kids walk around and find someone who fits that descriptor.

or

you hand out the grid and write everyones name on the board. Students fill in who they think meets that descriptor. Then they get up and check their answers.

Either way the first one to get a row "wins" and reads their board aloud to the class. Then I will give the students more time to see who can fill their board.

If I have kids who know each other and only 1 or 2 move-ins i will play the second way. If I have more than 5 move-ins I will play the first way.

Here's a bingo game that could easily be adapted if any of the questions are not sufficiently sensitive to the children's circumstances. Two sections require completion. Perhaps it came from PT???
