Have you tried the website starfall.com It has phonics based lessons and if you go to the main menu you can play games on the chunks/rhimes that you choose. They have a silent e game.

but I found a set of Silent e flash card for a game like Concentraton or Memory that had matching fish on them. The idea of the game was to match a CVC word with the corresponding CVCe word BUT we would stop and discuss what a huge difference the silent e made--there are 20 cards (10 pairs). bit-bite/hop-hope/pal-pale and so on.

Well, I just googled it but the main sites that popped up would either not let me in or said no longer for sale. Sorry. There were some others though.

This terrific Magic E UNO game was posted by Kermit, I think. Hope it is okay with her to attach it again.

Aussie Bird,

How did you get the whole thing to attach? I think I remember that I had to email that to everyone because the file was too big!

Good job!

Hello Kermit,

My memory is a bit hazy - I think the Magic E Uno game was just one of several Uno games that you made. Is the one I attached today complete? Maybe I have not attached the whole thing

I love your games and hope it was okay with you that I posted one of yours.

I love the UNO game on silent e! After Aussie said that you had additional ones I tried to search them out but couldn't find them. Could you post the thread or send me in the right direction? Thanks much!!

Are the rules similar? Do they match the vowel sound instead of the color and number? Thanks

I like the I'm Reading section for figurative language, especially the Chinese Fables.
