My dd is in 3rd grade and starting multiplication. Each child was assigned a number, my daughters number is 6. They have to make a large poster cut out of their number and then fill it with things that come in that number. The example given was 3. 3 blind mice, 3 wise man, The 3 bears.
I can't think of much with six. We already have a half dozen... eggs, roses etc...My dd said bananas, not sure on that. I said the Brandy Bunch kids, and she said what? (ah, the generation gap), since she had no clue on them, she can't use it. So anyone have any ideas, from the old testament is OK. I thought Joseph, but he had 12 brothers. Any other families with 6?? Books with 6? ANYTHING!!!!
someone mentioned Six Flags Theme Park....
this originated from the six flags that have flown over Texas:
Spain, France, Mexico, USA, Texas and the Confederate flag.
Even if you don't live in Texas, you could still use that one.
How about...Groundhog Day
If the groundhog sees his shadow, 6 more weeks of winter.
