Camping / Lodge Theme

I really love the ideas that I saw posted about a camping/lodge theme for my room. I have 4 boys that are all into scouting so I have lots of "stuff" I can borrow to help decorate with. I checked the archives for camping related templates that I can use for bulletin boards but didn't find it. I know I saw one listed somewhere and didn't save it at the time. Does anyone know of a site off hand where I can find some?

I did find some really cute woods/moose stick on wall borders at The Dollar Tree yesterday. They also had bamboo placemats that were a darker color and looked like twigs. Figure I could use them for something

Would love to hear some of your ideas!

Thanks!

A teacher I work with did the camping theme last year. She used clip art of a tent and projected it on the wall to trace. She hot glued it to the wall and used it for her word wall. She did the same thing with clip art of campers and hikers and used them as accents around the room. "camping out in __ grade" was her title.

Camping Theme Classroom

I did the camping theme last year in my first grade classroom. I really enjoyed it. Ms. Smith's website is what actually helped me to decide on that particular theme. I have pictures of my classroom if you would like to see them, please email me at douetteacheryahoo.com. I would be more than happy to share them with you. I also had a variety of center names related to camping (which Ms. Smith helped with-thank you again!). Good luck~

Hi...the center names and other resources are on my website. Be sure to check out the Room Tour, Units/Back to School page, and Workstations pages. I have workboard icons, decoration ideas, etc. This will be my 4th year doing the camping theme and I love it! I add a little to it each year.
