I would love to have an aisle by aisle map for Wal Mart. I've checked their website, but don't see an option. Does anyone know of a site that has this information?

I've never seen anything like that.

What are you looking for?

If you had a map...

...you wouldn't have to spend half an hour wandering the store coming across things that you'd forgotten you needed. Or that you didn't realize you needed. Or that you don't need, but it's soooo cute!

So why would Wal-Mart want to give you a map?

I pretty much have quit going to our Wal Mart since it became a super centre. Too, too big. A map is a good idea.
All I want is socks and underwear. I find it so bizarre to have a grocery store included. Socks, underwear and broccoli???

They can't give you a map because it changes weekly!

It wouldn't do any good to have one

because within three months it changes--they do major changes every so often just to make you visit, look at and hopefully impulse buy new items. Just about the time you get used to a certain pathway, it will change. A whole aisle won't necessarily change but the items within the shelves or the position down the length of the aisle might.

Like grav_def mentioned, it is all strategy and marketing.
