DRA Book List-for parents to take to library

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am looking for book lists by DRA level to provide for parents. I would like them to have a resource list to take to the library so they can help their child find just right books.

(I know about Book Wizards and all the sites to search for the book levels, but am just looking for a list of common books that would be found in the library at each level!)

I just don't want to create something that already exists if I don't have to!

I would try using the titles from the SeeSaw scholastic catalogs. They put the levels of the books in the catalog and I know it has helped the parents of my students purchase appropriate books. This might be a good place to start creating your list. I would also contact Scholastic Customer Service and explain to them what you are looking for. They may be able to point you to a component of their webpage that has the information you are looking for (for example a different way to manipulate the book wizard).

Sorry I wasn't more help.

Those are great websites! I sent an e-mail to the staff at my school, and I plan to send something home to parents.

Thank you!!

Thank you so much for your list!

msharkey- those sites are great...I had one of them in my favorites but added the others.

Does anyone know of a site where they list books at each level by genre? Or maybe on that gives a brief blurb about the book?
TIA
