I'm teaching contractions this week and I have lots of cute activities, but I'm looking for a good book that I can use. Does anyone know of a good picture book that can be used to help teach contractions?
I have a book called Alfie the Apostrophe. It talks about different kinds of punctuation but then the most important is Alphie and how he makes contractions. It is really cute. I think I got it through Scholastic in the last few months.
could you share some of the fun ideas that you have to go along with contractions, we are working on them in school this week too! I would love a cute game to go with it!
