Oscar Cutout...help please!
Old 05-16-2009, 06:44 PM

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Does anyone have an Oscar statue cutout of some sort that I could either color in with markers or print in color? I have looked EVERYWHERE (on all the hollywood party theme websites and then some).

I don't need a life-size cardboard cutout and that's all I've found online. I simply need a cutout/clipart picture to put in the center of my small data bulletin board.

I am willing to purchase one if you found a cutout at an online store.

Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated. I'm getting a bit frustrated since its the last thing I need to complete my classroom theme for the next school year.

this is the one i used last year: http://images-cdn01.associatedconten.../300_59796.jpg

i copied and pasted and printed them out and then stuck them to each student's marquee for 5 AR points.

BTW: found it doing a google image search (perhaps this isn't what you're looking for???)

I did find a few images like this one during my search. However, I think I need it to be quite a bit larger. Were you able to modify this imagine or did you keep it the original size? I am wondering if I can blow it up using a photoshop-type of program. I think I'll give it a try.

Thanks for such a quick response

If you were to print out a copy of the photo onto an overhead projector sheet, you could enlarge it to whatever size you need. You simply place the overhead sheet on the projector and move the projector until it is the size you need and trace it. This is how I make 95% of my figures for my bulletin boards.

Thanks for making me smile today! I don't know why I didn't think to type in "oscar templates", I think I Googled everything but that. I am going to use MaryMac's template and blow it up on the overhead like Sblab recommended.

Thanks for the help!

...oops, I should've mentioned I was incorporating the statue into my hollywood themed classroom for next year.

Sorry for the confusion.

Artbex, I'd love to take a look at whatever you have as I can use it for more than just my bboard. My classroom all year will be in the hollywood theme.

Thanks in advance
