6th Grade Spelling Contract

I am working on revamping my spelling contract for the upcoming school year. I got the idea (and contract) from search the message boards here on PT. Right now students have a lot of choices, but I am looking to narrow it down and give them more targeted practice. What do you do with your 6th graders for spelling work?

I got this from somewhere on the web. I made a few adjustments to make it fit with what I wanted from my 6th graders.

We give them tic-tac-toe options, they have to complete three activities from the page, and I change them up every week with new ideas...most of the options have them focus specifically on each individual letter (like vowels in different colors, or letters in different sizes) I've given them options to write the words in text message, write them in crayons, write them with their left hand, ...whatever makes them think about the letters!
