theme for a computer lab

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am trying to find a catchy, fun theme for the computer lab. I want to name it something fun too, so instead of saying kids are coming to the computer lab they can call it by its name. For example, we are the Lions at our school, so someone suggested the "Lion Lab". Kinda boring, but you get the idea Any suggestions for a better name for my lab, or a fun theme.

BTW--- this is my first time being a computer lab teacher. Any advice would be awesome!

Thanks

Our computer lab used an ocean theme. The bulletin board was "Get sea-rious about computers" and the backgroud was the ocean floor with various types of animals and shells.

Digital Den?

I am from Louisiana and taught 4th grade for 5 of my 10 years....I called my computer area the "Cyber Swamp" and decorated it with home-made cypress trees/moss, etc.... Each computer had a crawfish/crab number label.

You could call yours the "Digital Den"...since y'all are the lions. Just an idea.

You could use Surfin' the Net or Caught in the Net for the lab.

you could do Surfing the Web and then have either surfboard/ocean theme going or have a gigantic spider's web etc????

Our computer teacher used styrofoam square boxes (the kind restaurants put leftovers in) to create the computer keyboard on her BB. It was adorable!
