Hi - my school is the Smouse Knights and I am wanting to do a KNIGHT theme in our classroom. I already have a huge castle around my door in the hall. Any other ideas???

Last year, I had a giant castle on my classroom bulletin board. Surrounding it were scrolls with titles of books written on them. The title of the board was "Be a Royal Reader!"

I did a medieval theme in my classroom. We had a great time decorating our room and participating in activities. One idea we used was a shield for rewards. Everyone created a shield with silver paper. I created small emblems to paste onto the shield with medieval designs. You can design it for whatever suits your classroom. It could be the books read, or something similiar. Hope that helps.

we did a family reading night with a theme of Nighty Night Knight. I went to our local Burger King and they gave me a box of their "crowns" and we handed them out to the students. They wore them while we read books.

The Dover catalog (search online as I don't know the website but I was there a year or two ago) has knight, castle, and helmet models. They are not expensive and would make good decorations.
