Sand and flip flops

I did a beach theme a while back and had a blast with it. Here are some things that I used.
-I put a volleyball net across the window (or along a wall if you wish) and used clothespins to display work on it. The title was "I Really 'Dig' This Work"
-I hung different colored beach balls above my groups (if you have them) to distinguish table groups.
-My reading wall had flip flops stuck to it with the title "We Flip-Flop for Reading"
-My math wall was made by painting gold glitter in tan paint to give the look of sand and used the title "Math is 'Sand'-sational"
-My job helpers were called LifeGuards and I found a cute lifeguard towel and printed life bouys for names
-I had a science board that said "Dive into Science"
-The board above the computers had a shark and the title "Take a 'byte' of technology"
-Another work display board had suns and said "Soaking of some knowledge"
-I used sand pails for supplies.
I have pictures if you would like to see. I was pretty proud of all of it. Feel free to e-mail me if you would like some pictures.
To make large scale figures and such I used a beach themed scrapbooking kit and stickers. I copied them onto transparencies, blew them up on paper, painted, and outlined them all. I kept everything for a year when I don't get excited about anything.
Hope that helps!
