How to delete or 'unbookmark' bookmarks?

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I have quite a few bookmarks that I want to delete from my bookmarks folder. I figured out how to remove one at a time (which is more time consuming) but I want to delete many at a time.

I read the 'Help' file, but the section for managing bookmarks is 'coming soon'. Since I don't know how 'soon' is 'soon' I'm hoping someone can let me know how to do it sooner than later.

Hi! Sorry to hear about this problem. We've heard from several visitors with Mac-related issues. What version of OS X do you have? What browser are you using?

Here's something to try:

1. Go to your MyPage
2. Click on the "Bookmarks" link in the menu at left
3. Notice the checkboxes to the right of each bookmark
4. Click on the checkbox for each bookmark you wish to delete*
5. Find the menu under the list of bookmarks. Select 'Delete' and press the 'go' button.

*Or, to select all your displayed bookmarks at once, click on the checkbox in the gray menu area at the top of your bookmarks. This should check them all at once. Then continue to step 5.

Let me know if this helped!

I was able to follow your directions easily until I got to Number 5. The word 'bookmarks' shows up so many times that I had to click around until I found the right drop down menu... beneath the list, where it says "Move to folder". (Hmmm...Now that I'm reading it again... I see that you DID say UNDER the list! Some day I'll actually learn to read, and COMPREHEND, too!)

Oh well... it got the job done! Thanks for your clear directions!!

Also, THANKS for this fantastic site!!
I had been loyal to 'the honorable competition' for the last 10 years, but ProTeacher and all its great features has definitely won me over!!!!
