Hi! I teach 5th grade and we do the Reading Workshop format. I need help finding chapter books to demonstrate cause and effect for small guided reading groups. I know there's a lot of books out there, but I need some help (this is my first year in 5th grade). Thank you for your help.

The Power of Un

It's about a boy who is visted by his future self and given a machine that can undo mistakes by sending him back in time to re do the situation. The book also has a good message about siblings getting along and realizing what is important in life outside of your own wants.

I would recommend it for DRA 50 readers. Might make a good read aloud, too, though.
