We are having a door decorating contest for drug free week. I am fresh out of ideas. Our school theme is "Drug Free Is The Key" I would like to do something that involves halloween since the doors get judge on the 29th. Anyone have any ideas???

Maybe you could make a bunch of keys that the kids brainstorm shy they should choose to be drug free, or things to do instead of trying drugs.

The fire marshall made us take all door decorations down. And the energy conservation team says keep the doors closed. Now - no cool door decoartions AND no cute kids learning to look at.

Hi,

I got this idea off the internet when I googled red ribbon week door decorations. The sign said Don't be a fossil. Don't do drugs and the kids made skeletons out of q-tips and glued them on black paper. They had a lot of fun with it and it was great for Halloween.

I have done the skeletons and the students loved that. The school wide theme is hard to come up with ideas because keys and Halloween are not interrelated. Our school theme is I Rock Drug Free but we are only doing a poster competition.

I was thinking of a non-Halloween idea that connects to the theme... Keys to success....start with a drug free life and students can tell what they want to be when they grow up, this can be on a key if you chose or they can have cut out templates of a boy or girl to decorate their face and write their career choice.
