i have to teach legends to my 2nd grade class and am at a loss of what to do. anyone have any good ideas? Thanks!

I showed my students the Disney Legends DVD and then talked about the stories, you could also read the books.

My children love The Legend of the Indian Paintbrush and The Legend of The Bluebonnet. These are by Tomie DePaola. Both explain how these flowers came to be and are appropriate for this time of year. We made a wonderful mural based on the Indian Paintbrush.
