Had a good day today. I subbed in 6th grade Math. Math is one of my specialties. I love Math. When my day was over but in last the hour as it was planning. The next door teachers wasn't sure if I could go home yet or not so they called the office. Turns out I was needed in the reading room. The reading part was done but then she lets them finish up with homework from other classes. Turns out one of the kids was in a math class. He is great in math but his reading is poor. So, I read him the math problems and he worked them out. He did very well. I gave out my cards to the two neighbor/team teachers. It was a great day!

Days like that are the ultimate when it comes to subbing, aren't they? Sometimes there are sweet spots in the job.
