kids always in each others business

The children in my class have a very hard time minding their own business. They are constantly worried about what each other are doing, whether it's fair or not, if others are behaving, and on and on. I know that part of it is being seven years old, but this is too much! Any help?

I teach 2nd grade and taught my students about the 5 B's.

If something is a 5-B problem I should know about it, and it is their business.

B-Barfing (is someone sick?)
B-Broken (is something broken and can't be used or dangerous?)
B-Bullying (is someone being a bully, words or physical?)
B-Breathing (is someone having trouble breathing?)
B-Bleeding (is someone hurt?)

I always did the 3-Bs (barf, bully, blood) but I like the other two...I'm going to add them to my list!

I tell my students that, unless it is an emergency or it personally hurts them, they can write a note about the concern. This generally either serves to enhance their writing skills or they decide that it isn't worth the effort and forget about it.
