So, that is a new game to play on the plaground.... Doesn't going around biting one another and leaving silver dollar sized bruises sound like a blast! Needless to say some of these students are suspended.

The boys used to call out open chest in the bathroom and who ever didn't cover their chest with their arms woul d be punched. Yes, suspensions followed.

Where do they think this stuff up?

I used to work at a middle school where a group of students would squeeze their necks until they passed out. One did this and hit his head on the sink in the bathroom... he really passed out then. Not the sharpest knife, I'd say!

That is just crazy!

How do they think of these things? How do they think that it is ok?
How do they think there won't be a consequence and if they realize there will be a consequence then why would they do it in spite of that?

They do come up with the dumbest things.

A couple of weeks ago my firsties were wearing vampire teeth and running around chasing each other at recess. THey were having a blast! However, they were getting rowdier and rowdier and I was afraid they would end up in trouble (now that I hear about your game, I don't feel so badly) and had to put the kabosh on the game. I really felt bad, but just knew it was going to come to no good end...

I remember hearing the boys doing the open chest game back when I was in 5th or 6th grade. I never got the appeal.
