Just wandering what other faculties do to celebrate the holidays at their campus. Do you have a special luncheon at your school for the teachers? Do you exchange gifts? Play Secret Santa? Just lookin for different ideas that would make ours fun, but not something that would take too much work/time. We haven't done Secret Santa in a while, but with the economy I don't know if this would be the year to start it back.....

we are doing secret santa this year we can only spend 25 dollars for the entire week

we are also all going to dinner together one evening. We have already booked our place. At the resteraunt we play dirty santa with a 10 dollar gift

What is Dirty Santa?

we do a staff secret ornament exchange. These decorate the tree in the teacher's lounge. They have who they are from, but not who they are for. It drives everyone crazy because if you are participating you know that one of them is yours.

Then we go out to eat as a staff one night that is paid for.

We have also done secret santa for a week. We actually had secret pals the whole school year so your secret santa was the same person.

On the 7th grade team that I worked with last year we did a stocking swap where we filled a stocking and swapped and pulled numbers to get a stocking.

We have had apple cider pre dinner celebration at one of the teachers home.

We have had dinners at the schools I have worked and the gone out to eat as well.
