I want to work as a pre school teacher, teaching to get them ready for Kindergarten.

I have not seen a daycare I cared for. I am looking to work in a great facility.

I know of KinderCare, Montossori, waldrof schools

what else is out there? Thank you amazing teachers!

In New York State (and others, I'm sure), we have Universal Pre-K. Ours is part of our elementary school, and it's phenomenal.

There is a wide definition for early childhood education and preschool.

I teach 4-year-old kindergarten in a public school. One-third of districts in Wisconsin provide 4-year-old kindergarten. As a public school teacher, you need a BSE in a university teacher licensing program. I have three teaching licenses: early childhood special education, PK-12 learning disabilities and PK-8 year old general education.
Headstart is a available in many places, educational requirements seem to be different depending on who you are working for. There also seems to be a growing number of early learning centers that have daycare, headstart, early childhood special education and 4-year-old kindergarten program in an inclusive program.

I agree with Ruby07 - I also teach in a UPK program in New York and the program is phenomenal. I was lucky to be able to start the UPK in my district from the ground up and have total creative freedom in my program. The main goal of UPK is to prepare a child for the kindergarten curriculum. I know many states have UPK so you may want to look into it.
