You can have the kids trace their hands on brown paper, cut them out, and glue different colored fruit loops to the fingers to make colorful feathers. I have not done this, but I saw the idea somewhere earlier today and thought it looked cute.

I was planning on making turkeys out of playdough. Roll a ball, stick feathers in. I haven't quite figured out what to do for the feet. I thought about using candy corn for the nose or eyes.

I make a turkey hat. It's easy and fun for the kids.

We make handprint turkeys in our classroom...paint the palm and thumb brown and the other fingers different colors. Press the hand down onto paper and then when it is dry, the children add details to the picture.
