Does anyone have anything cute I can do with kindergarteners like a short play or anything in front of their parents at a feast?
TIA

I have no idea where this is from:

Tune: Are you sleeping?

Turkey Dinner, Turkey Dinner,
Gather round, Gather round
Who will get the drum stick,
yummy yummy drum stick
me o my
me o my

turkey dinner, Turkey Dinner
gather round, gather round
pumpkin pie
ten feet high
We were all much thinner
before we ate our dinner
me o my
me o my

I think it's cute and you could do some other plays- like what about doing something about "there was an old lady who swallowed a pie" or "One is a feast for mouse: a thanksgiving tale" by judy cox?

Tom turkey idea:

that my class does every year for the parents. One is a poem and one is a song. They are short, cute and the kids are able to learn them pretty quickly. They are both available in emergent reader book form on Teachers pay teachers. Here's the link:

Here is what we do every year. "It's Happy Thanksgiving!" is a poem by Jack Pretlusky. The kids recite it and use hand motions to go with it. The parents love it especially the grandmothers. I usually do hand motions to every song that they do. The kids will wear turkey hats during the performance. The rest of the songs were taken from the Virtual Vine or Kinderkorner, etc.~Brigid
