I need suggestions about what song my kids can sing at our Christmas program. The band always plays "Up On the Housetop", "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolph" so the "classics" are taken. It can't be a religious song. We need to start practicing soon so TIA!

We're doing the same thing! Last year, I did "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" and the kids had guitars (made from poster board- parents decorated) and Santa hats. We let one boy do the sax solo- so cute! This year, I think I'm giong to do "I Want a Hippopatomus for Christmas" or "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus". The teacher my daughter has is doing "I'm Dreaming of a While Christmas" and the kids are going to have lots of hand motions wearing white gloves with big snow-flakes attached to them. I can hardly wait! I am anxious to get ideas from your post!

I've posted this recommendation on a few posts but I love this song so much I can't help but recommend it. Hap Palmer's Jingle Bells. It's a movement song where you have to move your body to the song. For example, jingle hands, jingle arms, jingle legs and feet. It's a great song.
