.............I get so annoyed when a poster has a great idea to share and says, "Give me your email address and I will email it to you."(This part does not annoy me)

Quickly, the thread has a massive number of requests for the great idea. Have you ever noticed the "number of posts" for those requesting the info?? 3, 7 maybe 10? (this annoys me!!)

I guess I need to accept the fact that there will always be those wonderful people who generously give and give and those that will take advantage of them.

The part about it that annoys me is that I open the post expecting great dialogue and exchange of ideas because the post has 20+ replies. Then they all say "Add me to the list"

Any posts that have email addresses in the responses should be deleted, they are against board policy, I believe (you can hit stop).

I agree though-- why not just share so all can have without having to worry about giving out personal info.

Sometimes you can't share with everyone, even if you wanted to. I had something I was going to share on the K board and the file size was too large to upload. I tried to get it small enough but it was just too large to upload. But I could easily email it.

The frustrating thing is when you then have to send out dozens of emails, ugh!

If the original poster has too few posts, they can't attach the file. So I understand the email thing. If they're too low also, they can't PM, so no PMing an email address.

What annoys me is seeing a post like that, that is two or three years old, and someone new posts, asking for it to be emailed again. Um, the post is old, folks. Probably not going to get that file you want.
