YUCK! I'd much rather be spending more time reading posts, but I've got to go to school - we have GAPSS (a two-day school review) committee coming in Wednesday and I've got to get my room straightened up and file piles of stuff which have been laying around for weeks!

I will be at school too. I want to rearrange the layout and need to make copies for the week. We have a field trip tomorrow and I have two meetings after school this week, so no time to get copies done.

Is GAPSS the same as our SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools)? We have just begun the process, writing goals based on data, and our plan for accomplishing them.

Yes, in our state you can choose to go through the SACS which is an outside committee coming in, or the GAPSS which is in-county personnel. It's pretty much the same thing. We've been getting ready for this for the last year. We had to put together huge notebooks with copies of pretty much everything we do (student work with commentary, lesson plans, parent communication, etc). I'll be soooo glad when it's over!
