online source for retelling aids

I'm looking for an online source for pictures to retell popular stories. My students need a lot of practice retelling stories and I am trying to provide picture aids whenever possible. I find it takes forever for me to photocopy pictures from the book and shrink them, then make a retelling worksheet so they can write it down. Is there an easier way to do this or does anyone have an online source?

I suppose the next best thing would be to get a scanner...although that is still time consuming!

a lot to look at, but it looks like activities to go with books.

I use google image a lot for that. I'll type in "pig clip art" or whatever related to the story.

That is something I really like about our reading series Scott Foresman Reading Street. They have retelling pictures in the text and also as cards that the children can put in the correct order to retell the story. I have found that my first graders really need those pictures to aid them in retelling a story.

If you go to kizclub dot com you will find a lot of retelling pieces for some popular reading titles. Click under stories.

That's one thing I do like about the Treasures reading series. They have picture cards for the main selection. They are very helpful.
