What's everyone doing this year for parent Christmas gifts? Specifically for 3/4 year olds. Last year we made clipboards but I was looking for something different for this year. Any good ideas?

I think this year I am going to do some kind of Christmas tree decoration for the parents. I like the idea of including the kids picture somehow and the year, but not exactly sure what yet. Sorry Im not much help haha.

I do the handprint calendar as posted on littlegiraffes.com It's a ton of work but the parents love it and I can do it with supplies I already have in my classroom.

I work for a public school and since some parents are not religious, I take a picture of their child and we paste it on a gingerbread felt piece. The children use fabric paint to decorate it. Then the children make their own wrapping paper (computer paper) to wrap for their parents.
Hope that helps.

in the past I used a clear glass tree blob, I paint the child's hand with white paint and have them grab the ball from the bottom with fingers spread out. Them I use permanent markers to draw snowman faces, hats and scarf's to each finger. you could even add snow flakes fulling from the top. this turns out very cute each time....

I have also done a treasure box filled with things like a hand print w/poam, foot print a measurement of a hug....so on

hope this helps
