Pie tasting?

Sorry, I can't sign in because I don't have the little heart thingy in my user name saved here at school. Does anyone do a pie tasting for Thanksgiving in their room? I wanted to plan something fun for one of those two days before Thanksgiving break and thought this might be good. If you have one, how do you organize it? I was thinking of having parents bring in different pies and have the kids graph the results of the ones they liked best, or something along those lines. Any other ideas for second graders? The only thing I outright refuse to do is a feast. It's way too much work! TIA!

but could they rename each pie? They could use rhyme, alliteration, personification and / or onomatopoeia.

Example; Oh My Sky High Lip Luscious Lemon Lime Pie

With third graders I am reading "I know an Old Lady Who Swallowed A Pie." The makelearningfun website has a printable for a pie tasting that goes along with this book. Then I'm going to show them how to make a pie graph using the Smartboard.
