which set would you read?

I have a group of 3rd grade students that are in my lowest reading group. I am planning to do lit sets with my groups. Which of these would you choose to read with a low group.... Flat Stanley, Freckle Juice, or Marvin Redpost alone in the Teacher's House.

I need something that will be low enough but also motivating for these lower readers and these are my options. I think Marvin would be pretty motivating but haven't read the others in quite awhile. Your opinion please....

TIA

I love Flat Stanley. It also allows you to do some creative poems or writing activities.
Good luck.

I love the other two titles, but would choose the Marvin Redpost story. It is a good story which includes a boy, his friends, his teacher and a dog. Can' t get any more than that in such a short easy read.

Dont care for Flat Stanley either. Never read Marvin Redpost, but I love Freckle Juice. I always did this book with my advance 2nd graders and they really enjoyed it.
