Microsoft Publisher has some good options.

I do a weekly newsletter. I send it home on Mondays and let parents know what I have planned.

It makes me be prepared for the week! I've even evolved this year and map out my homework for the week!

I usually do a weekly newsletter. I have a subscription to Mailbox magazine, and there is an online "companion" that has many templates and extra activities. But, I didn't like how I couldn't "save" the template with my information on it -- I just had to type it all out and hit print right away.

This summer I bought a newsletter template from teachersclubhouse.com and I really love it!

educationworld.com has a nice format! I started using it this year and you can change the set up and clip art fairly easy. I love it and it looks very professional.
