I decided to have a celebration for our 50th day of school. I have never done this before, but I have seen posts on it. I have searched 50th day, 50th day of school, 50 days, and I still can't find anything on it. What do you do to celebrate it or do you have any links to old posts? TIA!!!

in regards to being half of 100. We discuss the fraction 1/2 and then have a treat using 1/2 of a paper plate, 1/2 of a napkin and 1/2 of a doughnut. We also practice counting by 10's and 5's.

I just did one yesterday for the first time. We made records and the inside label said " The 50th Day Rocks!

We played with hula hoops and set them up in groups of five and jumped through them counting by 10.

I played rock around the clock. And I typed up the word FIFTY in bubble letters and put ten polka dots on each letter..... which equals 50.

Then we ended the day with mini coke floats.
